You can still meet plenty of cool people who do not have headsets but it’s always good to look for people with microphones. You can see gameplay here I’ve read that online but this applies to all games GTA included. When you communicate with people through a headset it’s a lot easier than with messaging and this can be very helpful in situations. These Discord servers have voice chats you can join or voice channels that people are chilling in to play GTA 5 with other people. You can make friends who are also addicted to the game and like to play it every day.
These servers are open to the public so there might be some trolls in them but the moderators actively work hard to get rid of anyone who breaks the rules. Make sure to give the rules a quick read before causing any havoc that might lead you to get banned or kicked from the server permanently.
